Take the excitement of history and mix it with imagination to create ancient adventures!
Your pupils can pick any person, place or event from history to inspire their mini saga, a story told in just 100 words.
From discovering a pharaoh's tomb or a soldier in the trenches to being Queen Victoria or an explorer sailing the seven seas it's a great way to tie in creative writing with your current history topic, to get your pupils having a bit of fun and to create original short stories.
There are many additional resources ready to have your pupils raring to write! There are several ways to enter your pupils' work too from post to email or even using the Online Writing Portal... which ticks another cross-curricular link & there is even a how to handy guide to download for it!
